About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management and challenge the business with forward thinking approaches to accelerate growth, enhance operational efficiency, and increase profitability including:
- ROI analysis
- Investment prioritization
- Scenario planning/modeling
- Operational analysis
- Developing and refining meaningful management reporting
- Preparing business recommendations based on financial analysis
- Assist in development of regular financial forecasts that incorporate current business trends and strategies
- Driving continuous improvement in report and analysis automation
- Taking initiative and working independently to conduct special studies to analyze complex financial data
- Completing internal process review, documenting internal processes and providing recommendations for improved productivity and/or cost savings.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, or financial analysis roles
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles. SaaS industry experience preferred.
- Must have a working knowledge of balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, working capital analysis
- Experience building financial models, forecasts, budgets, and KPI reporting
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills including financial modeling and data analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across the business
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience improving reporting automation or finance processes
- Experience with financial planning or BI tools such as NetSuite, Power BI, Tableau, or Adaptive Planning
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field. MBA Preferred
