Ops Specialist
PassportOperations Specialist overseeing UK outbound parcel operations with logistical oversight and third-party vendor collaboration. Driving performance improvements in a fast-paced international logistics environment.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner closely with third-party operational vendors to ensure performance meets SLAs, KPIs, and service expectations
- Visit processing centers to observe workflows, identify operational risks, and support day-to-day execution
- Act as the local operational point of contact for UK outbound performance, service issues, and on-site follow-through
- Investigate exceptions, delays, and recurring operational breakdowns to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions
- Help turn operational insights into action by supporting rollout and implementation of improvements with management and vendor teams
- Create and refine processes, SOPs, and operational documentation to improve consistency and execution
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5 years of experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, or a related field
- Experience in international parcel logistics is strongly preferred
- Strong process creation and documentation skills
- Experience handling exceptions, solving operational problems, and improving workflows
- Ability to work independently, identify problems proactively, and bring forward thoughtful solutions
- Confidence operating in the field
