About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the discovery, scoping, and project definition phases to establish objectives and delivery plans.
Plan and oversee the delivery of Finance Transformation projects.
Manage the insourcing and transition of Accounts Payable into the Cape Town Shared Service Centre (SSC).
Lead the implementation of the Oracle ERP system to streamline finance operations.
Ensure all project activities align with organizational goals, governance frameworks, and compliance requirements.
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, such as Finance leadership and Technology, as well as external vendors.
Engage with Cape Town SSC leadership to facilitate knowledge transfer and process adoption, while providing transparent reporting to senior management.
Manage project risks, dependencies, and scope changes while coordinating cross-functional teams to foster a culture of accountability.

Requirements

What you’ll need

10 years in project management within financial services or large corporate environments.
Proven experience leading Finance Transformation programs in highly regulated environments.
Proficiency in end-to-end Oracle ERP implementation - ideally Oracle Cloud Financials - along with strong knowledge of finance AP processes, operating models, and controls.
Demonstrated expertise in managing Accounts Payable transition projects, preferably those involving Shared Service Centres.
Ability to lead geographically dispersed teams while effectively managing project governance frameworks, reporting standards, and risks.
