Operational Excellence Lead, Process & Performance
Parts TownOperational Excellence Lead managing process and performance initiatives for Parts Town, a restaurant equipment distributor. Supporting fulfillment network operations and continuous improvement efforts.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the execution, documentation, and performance management of operational excellence initiatives across fulfillment network
- Develop and maintain SOPs, process maps, and standard work documentation
- Manage version control and ensure documentation accuracy and accessibility
- Partner with site teams to ensure consistent process adoption and flag deviations
- Analyze productivity, quality, and cycle time data to identify gaps and trends
- Build dashboards and reports to track KPIs and operational performance
- Support process design and documentation for new fulfillment center launches
- Assist with WMS implementations including UAT, test cases, and defect tracking
- Ensure SOPs align with system capabilities during WMS transitions
- Support training and rollout of processes at new and existing sites
- Participate in Lean initiatives, Kaizen events, and improvement tracking
- Implement standard work, visual management, and performance tools
- Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and follow-ups across initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, fulfillment, or operations roles
- Hands-on experience with process documentation and workflow mapping
- Exposure to warehouse operations and Warehouse Management Systems
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong execution and follow-through
- Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional and site-level teams
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to identify and drive performance improvements
- Strong analytical skills (and knowledge of Excel, BI tools, or data visualization platforms)
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products (proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and analytics tools is strongly preferred).
- All-star communicator and proficient in English (both written and verbal).
- Ability to travel (40% annually, but as high as 50% during project implementation).
- Quality, high speed internet connection at home.
