About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the monthly close process, including preparation and posting of journal entries and completion of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Record and reconcile debt activity, ensuring accuracy and alignment with supporting schedules
  • Assist with Asset-Based Lending (ABL) reporting, including preparation and analysis of Borrowing Base Certificates (BBC)
  • Manage and coordinate the company-wide intercompany reconciliation process, including intercompany AR/AP, cash sweep activity, and intercompany sales
  • Manage and reconcile various billing processes, including benefits, insurance, and other vendor-related allocations
  • Support interim and year-end external audits, including preparation of schedules and responding to auditor requests
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (FP&A, Tax, Treasury) to support financial reporting and analysis

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with SAP, OneStream, or other ERP/consolidation tools is a plus
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Proactive self-starter that learns and adapts quickly in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 1+ years of relevant accounting experience (CPA or progress toward certification is preferred)
  • Quality, high-speed internet connection at home
  • All-star communicator proficient in English (both written and verbal)
  • Schedule of M-F 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (CST) with flexibility to adjust to different hours as needed
