About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the monthly close process, including preparation and posting of journal entries and completion of balance sheet reconciliations
- Record and reconcile debt activity, ensuring accuracy and alignment with supporting schedules
- Assist with Asset-Based Lending (ABL) reporting, including preparation and analysis of Borrowing Base Certificates (BBC)
- Manage and coordinate the company-wide intercompany reconciliation process, including intercompany AR/AP, cash sweep activity, and intercompany sales
- Manage and reconcile various billing processes, including benefits, insurance, and other vendor-related allocations
- Support interim and year-end external audits, including preparation of schedules and responding to auditor requests
- Partner with cross-functional teams (FP&A, Tax, Treasury) to support financial reporting and analysis
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with SAP, OneStream, or other ERP/consolidation tools is a plus
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
- Proactive self-starter that learns and adapts quickly in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1+ years of relevant accounting experience (CPA or progress toward certification is preferred)
- Quality, high-speed internet connection at home
- All-star communicator proficient in English (both written and verbal)
- Schedule of M-F 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (CST) with flexibility to adjust to different hours as needed
