About the role

  • Manage and analyze pricing for assigned brands/categories, including developing, executing, and monitoring go-to-market pricing strategies.
  • Conduct competitive research and market analysis to identify pricing trends, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Develop and refine tools and processes to dynamically adjust pricing based on competitive, customer, and market intelligence.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Ecommerce teams to design pricing programs that increase penetration and attract new customers.
  • Monitor drivers of profitability, including cost changes, competitor shifts, tariffs, and other market forces, and proactively adjust strategy as needed.
  • Support bid/RFP opportunities by ensuring accurate, competitive, and compliant pricing recommendations.
  • Create and maintain reporting to track performance against objectives, such as sales growth, margin impact, and market share gains.
  • Serve as a pricing subject matter expert, providing recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Facilitate ad hoc pricing and market analysis to support strategic company initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement by automating reporting, refining business intelligence tools, and eliminating manual processes.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in an analytical data role
  • Expertise in analyzing data, identifying trends, summarizing findings, providing recommendations
  • Demonstrable quantitative decision-making skills
  • Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in MS, SQL, Excel, Access, or other data visualization tools
  • Experience in SAP, SAP 4HANA is a bonus
  • BS/BA in business, finance, statistics, computer science, information systems, or related fields is a plus
  • Quality, high-speed internet connection at home
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (CST) / 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (EST) with flexibility as needed
