About the role

  • Support the coordination of bridge and permanent housing for homeless households.
  • Execute community response efforts in coordination with the City of Atlanta and community stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with diversion providers to increase use and success of diversion.
  • Monitor effectiveness of outreach and navigation work for permanent housing.
  • Serve as lead project manager for coordinating outreach teams and shelter for encampment closures.
  • Develop workflows for encampment closures and bridge housing.
  • Oversight of peer support specialists and program delivery monitoring.
  • Prepare daily report outs on unsheltered population numbers and housing goals in collaboration with the SPM of Unsheltered Homelessness.
  • Utilize HMIS to monitor needs and make projections.
  • Champion diversion as a solution for housing placements.
  • Facilitate case conferencing and activities to help individuals move into housing.
  • Represent Partners for HOME in community meetings, committees, and work groups.

Requirements

  • Individuals who have lived experience with homelessness strongly encouraged to apply
  • High energy and a passion for the CoC’s mission and goals
  • Previous experience working with the homeless population or housing preferable.
  • Skilled in Excel and have experience working in HMIS.
  • Proficiency in Power BI or other data management tools is a plus.
  • Familiar with homelessness outreach, diversion, CoC and or encampment outreach
  • Strong initiative and curiosity.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple discipline
  • Experience leading work groups and trainings.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Ability to excel in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, diverse, results-oriented environment, and to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills to effectively work with a broad spectrum of stakeholders.
  • Professional, precise, and persuasive writing and editing skills.
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to perceive and understand people’s motivations.
  • Highly industrious with a strong work ethic; a sense of urgency/impatience for action.
  • Integrity and humility that encourages and inspire constituents, strong sense of judgment.
  • Seeks constructive criticism and growth.
  • Thrive under pressure, consistently meeting expectations and commitments on tight deadlines, all while managing a variety of tasks and relationships in an efficient and meticulous manner.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and project management tools.
