About the role
- Support the coordination of bridge and permanent housing for homeless households.
- Execute community response efforts in coordination with the City of Atlanta and community stakeholders.
- Collaborate with diversion providers to increase use and success of diversion.
- Monitor effectiveness of outreach and navigation work for permanent housing.
- Serve as lead project manager for coordinating outreach teams and shelter for encampment closures.
- Develop workflows for encampment closures and bridge housing.
- Oversight of peer support specialists and program delivery monitoring.
- Prepare daily report outs on unsheltered population numbers and housing goals in collaboration with the SPM of Unsheltered Homelessness.
- Utilize HMIS to monitor needs and make projections.
- Champion diversion as a solution for housing placements.
- Facilitate case conferencing and activities to help individuals move into housing.
- Represent Partners for HOME in community meetings, committees, and work groups.
Requirements
- Individuals who have lived experience with homelessness strongly encouraged to apply
- High energy and a passion for the CoC’s mission and goals
- Previous experience working with the homeless population or housing preferable.
- Skilled in Excel and have experience working in HMIS.
- Proficiency in Power BI or other data management tools is a plus.
- Familiar with homelessness outreach, diversion, CoC and or encampment outreach
- Strong initiative and curiosity.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple discipline
- Experience leading work groups and trainings.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Ability to excel in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, diverse, results-oriented environment, and to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills to effectively work with a broad spectrum of stakeholders.
- Professional, precise, and persuasive writing and editing skills.
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to perceive and understand people’s motivations.
- Highly industrious with a strong work ethic; a sense of urgency/impatience for action.

- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and project management tools.
