Key responsibilities & impact

Play a pivotal role in driving the entire M&A lifecycle, from identifying opportunities to transaction close
Independently lead M&A transactions from origination through closing
Drive multiple live transactions simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
Manage and mentor a team of analysts and associates
Build and maintain strong relationships with owner-operators, investment bankers and large corporations
Prepare and negotiate indicative offers, including Letters of Intent (LOIs)

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, corporate development, investment banking, or private equity, including at least 3 years focused on software M&A
Demonstrated expertise executing M&A transactions with a proven track record of successfully closing deals
Strong relationship-building and negotiation experience
Ability to think quickly, make sound decisions under pressure, and operate effectively in a high-volume transaction environment
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in relationship management and transaction-related writing
Highly organized, self-motivated, and execution-oriented
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet aggressive deadlines, and adapt to variable hours
Willingness to travel as needed to facilitate transaction execution
