Requirements

What you’ll need

Alert Response & Triage: Monitor security feeds and information systems to identify, investigate, and resolve security alerts in real-time.
Vulnerability Management: Execute regular patching cycles and system updates to mitigate risks across diverse environments.
Software Deployment: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of security tools and endpoint protection software.
Identity & Access Management: Manage user permissions and ensure the principle of least privilege is maintained across various platforms.
Documentation: Maintain clear logs of incidents and resolutions to help build our internal knowledge base.
Foundational Knowledge: A solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP), operating systems (Windows/Linux), and common security threats.
Technical Agility: Ability to quickly adapt to different technical setups and software requirements as you move between projects.
Problem-Solving Mindset: You don't just see an alert; you want to know *why* it happened and how to stop it from happening again.
Communication: Clear, concise communication skills—you’ll need to explain technical fixes to team members with varying levels of expertise.
Relevant Certifications (Bonus): CompTIA Security+, GIAC, or similar entry-level security certifications are a plus but not a requirement.
