About the role
- Play a pivotal strategic and hands-on role shaping the future of an ASX-listed non-bank lender and multi-channel distribution business
- Lead enterprise-wide change management with clear plans, milestones, communications and success metrics
- Establish HR as a credible, action-oriented partner across Executives, Board and RemCo
- Design and deliver employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
- Lift leadership and manager capability through targeted development initiatives
- Design and deliver a customer-focused People strategy linking employee experience to commercial performance and customer outcomes
- Drive organisation design and workforce planning to lift capability and speed of execution
- Implement frameworks for performance, development, succession planning, talent reviews and leadership
- Redesign remuneration frameworks to be simple, fair and aligned to business performance and risk
- Establish key people metrics and regularly report progress to Executive and Board
- Establish robust remuneration benchmarking
- Oversee all HR operations and compliance
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years in senior HR leadership roles, including Head of HR or equivalent
- Experience in financial services, FinTech or other highly regulated environments
- Proven experience leading organisational change and transformation, particularly post-merger or acquisition
- Track record of elevating the HR function into a trusted business partner
- Demonstrated success influencing and engaging at Board level
- Experience designing and implementing remuneration and reward frameworks (including STI/LTI and market benchmarking)
- Proven ability to oversee HR operations including payroll, policy, compliance, and service delivery
- Deep expertise in organisational design and change management
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR regulations in financial services (including APRA and ASIC)
- Credible and trusted leadership, strong influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent demonstrated professional experience
