About the role

  • Play a pivotal strategic and hands-on role shaping the future of an ASX-listed non-bank lender and multi-channel distribution business
  • Lead enterprise-wide change management with clear plans, milestones, communications and success metrics
  • Establish HR as a credible, action-oriented partner across Executives, Board and RemCo
  • Design and deliver employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
  • Lift leadership and manager capability through targeted development initiatives
  • Design and deliver a customer-focused People strategy linking employee experience to commercial performance and customer outcomes
  • Drive organisation design and workforce planning to lift capability and speed of execution
  • Implement frameworks for performance, development, succession planning, talent reviews and leadership
  • Redesign remuneration frameworks to be simple, fair and aligned to business performance and risk
  • Establish key people metrics and regularly report progress to Executive and Board
  • Establish robust remuneration benchmarking
  • Oversee all HR operations and compliance

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years in senior HR leadership roles, including Head of HR or equivalent
  • Experience in financial services, FinTech or other highly regulated environments
  • Proven experience leading organisational change and transformation, particularly post-merger or acquisition
  • Track record of elevating the HR function into a trusted business partner
  • Demonstrated success influencing and engaging at Board level
  • Experience designing and implementing remuneration and reward frameworks (including STI/LTI and market benchmarking)
  • Proven ability to oversee HR operations including payroll, policy, compliance, and service delivery
  • Deep expertise in organisational design and change management
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR regulations in financial services (including APRA and ASIC)
  • Credible and trusted leadership, strong influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent demonstrated professional experience
