About the role

  • Drive Revenue Growth - Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and presales team on proposals and presentations.
  • Develop and implement client engagement strategies and account plans.
  • Oversee the entire sales process, including lead qualification, pre-sales activities, quoting, contract completion, and closing.
  • Manage and Build Client Relationships - Develop and maintain strong relationships to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Understand client needs and tailor the company's solutions accordingly.
  • Regularly communicate with clients to identify potential issues and offer solutions.
  • Provide updates on company offerings, product roadmaps, and industry trends.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling the company's solutions to existing clients.
  • Focus on growing existing accounts and maximising their potential.
  • Liaise and Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams - Act as the primary point of contact between clients and the company's development team to ensure client requirements are understood and implemented.
  • Manage client expectations with the delivery team, ensuring on-time and within budget deliverables.
  • Work closely with delivery and engineering teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Advocate for client needs within the company and ensure that offerings meet client requirements.
  • Create and negotiate complex quotes, RFIs/RFPs, and contracts, managing sales negotiations at the decision-making level.

Requirements

  • BA in Business Administration or related field, or BS in Computer Science.
  • +1/2 years of proven experience in client relationship management within the software or technology sector, with a demonstrated ability to sell solutions or services at the executive level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and achieve defined quotas (revenue, margin, bookings).
  • Experience collaborating with global, distributed, or offshore engineering teams - CRM experience.
  • Comfortable speaking to both technical and non-technical executives.
