About the role

  • Collaborates with team members to develop proposals, scopes, and fees
  • Serve as Engineer-of-Record on aviation civil design projects
  • Prepare, review, and seal engineering calculations, plans, and specifications
  • Ensure technical accuracy and code compliance across all phases of civil design
  • Apply sound engineering judgment to solve complex site layout, grading, drainage, and utility challenges
  • Mentor junior engineers and designers in civil engineering principles and software tools (e.g., Civil 3D)
  • Coordinate with permitting agencies and regulatory bodies to ensure environmental and FAA compliance
  • Support proposal development and technical content for business development pursuits
  • Engage in internal design reviews, peer QA/QC checks, and client technical meetings
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry codes, technologies, and aviation design practices
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
  • Professional engineer registration (PE) in OK
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and civil design software
  • Strong working knowledge of FAA design standards, stormwater management, and site development
  • Demonstrated experience leading the technical design of aviation or transportation infrastructure projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform engineering work independently and ethically, with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations, construction practices, and workplace safety standards
