About the role
- Lead the renewal assessment for Slack, including reviewing current usage, auditing connected tools and workflows, and making recommendations on contract renewal, optimization, and cost effectiveness
- Audit and help clean up Google Workspace and Slack accounts, including user access, permissions, inactive accounts, group structure, and general admin hygiene
- Improve company security posture, including implementing or strengthening single sign-on (SSO), identity and access management, device controls, and account provisioning/deprovisioning processes
- Create practical documentation, workflows, and standards that improve long-term maintainability and operational readiness
- Partner with internal stakeholders across operations, finance, people, and leadership to prioritize projects and deliver improvements with minimal disruption
Requirements
- Proven experience as an IT Consultant, IT Manager, Systems Administrator, or similar role in a fast-paced company environment
- Experience managing and optimizing Slack, Google Workspace, identity providers, and SaaS tool ecosystems
- Strong understanding of SSO, identity and access management, provisioning/deprovisioning, and security best practices
- Experience preparing companies for audits, diligence requests, compliance reviews, or M&A-related operational readiness
- Ability to assess a fragmented environment, set priorities, and implement practical solutions quickly
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams at once
- Clear communicator who can explain technical tradeoffs and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders
