About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, termination agreements, partnerships, cooperation agreements, powers of attorney, notices, commercial campaign regulations, and other legal instruments related to the institution’s business
Analyze contracts and cooperation agreements with public-sector entities, payment processors, and strategic partners, particularly in payroll-deducted loan operations
Manage the contract lifecycle, ensuring organization, control, monitoring, and compliance with deadlines
Prepare legal opinions, studies, and guidance to provide advisory support to business areas
Participate in strategic projects to structure new products, services, and business models, with a focus on risk management and legal certainty
Work closely with internal teams, contributing to decision-making and the implementation of strategic initiatives
Identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, and controls, promoting operational efficiency and governance
Monitor department metrics and propose continuous improvements to enhance management practices and results

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Law and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
Extensive experience drafting, negotiating, and reviewing contracts of low, medium, and high complexity
Experience providing corporate legal advisory services, with direct interaction with business areas
Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess risks and propose legally sound solutions aligned with business needs
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple demands simultaneously
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Collaborative profile, with the ability to build relationships and work with diverse stakeholders
Proactive approach, strong sense of ownership, solution-oriented mindset, and results focus
Preferred: experience with contracts and cooperation agreements involving public-sector entities
Preferred: experience in financial institutions, fintechs, or regulated companies
Preferred: knowledge of payroll-deducted loan operations
Preferred: experience managing the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) process
Preferred: experience with process improvement, governance, and operational efficiency projects
Preferred: familiarity with performance indicators and results management within a legal department
Preferred: experience in dynamic business environments involving extensive collaboration across multidisciplinary teams
Desirable: experience in contracts departments at financial institutions, payment services companies, or regulated-market organizations
