About the role

  • Participate from the conception of new features, helping define acceptance criteria and promoting a quality culture (shift-left mindset);
  • Plan, design and execute manual and automated tests (Web, API and Mobile);
  • Apply and disseminate testing techniques and strategies across different layers of the application;
  • Work on error prevention by identifying risks and proposing solutions together with the team;
  • Perform exploratory testing and code reviews;
  • Knowledge of Git and CI/CD to ensure continuous delivery;
  • Help align the technical vision with the product vision;
  • Monitor deliveries, analyze metrics and propose continuous improvements;
  • Support analysis of technical and business data;
  • Contribute to the QA chapter guidelines and propose process improvements.

Requirements

  • Experience as QA, QE or SDET;
  • Experience with software testing and automation;
  • Experience with automated testing on hybrid mobile platforms;
  • Proficiency in a programming language (preferably C#, Python or TypeScript);
  • Experience with Swagger for API validation and automation;
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases;
  • Knowledge of testing across all layers of the application;
  • Familiarity with different types of testing (functional and non-functional);
  • Knowledge of YAML and automated test pipelines;
  • Good communication, attention to detail and critical thinking;
  • Experience with agile methodologies.
