About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in the preparation of the long-range plan, annual budget, and monthly forecasts for domestic compensation and headcount and SG&A in collaboration with business partners and Finance aligned with the company’s fiscal calendar
- Gather information and prepare monthly and quarterly cause-of-change analysis for divisions and departments the role supports
- Partner with key touchpoints in Human Resources to plan changes related to organization structure changes and business-as-usual updates in headcount and compensation
- Support department head stakeholders with reporting and analysis of departmental expenses
- Ad hoc analysis and reports
- Overtime may be required, particularly for monthly forecasts and annual budget submissions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in Financial Planning/Reporting & Analysis/Accounting related experience
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Microsoft Edge)
- Ability to communicate successfully across various departments and with various levels throughout the organization.
- CPA, ACCA (or equivalent) a plus
- Experience in Oracle, Longview and SAP a plus
- Experience in the Media and Entertainment industry a plus
- Strong working knowledge of general accounting principles, concepts and processes (US GAAP/IFRS)
