About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with sales to build client relationships while also helping the team upsell & renew business
Ensure continuity and success across pre-and post-sale activities - own the entire deal flow & manage its success
Manage a team of Sales Associates, assisting them with pre and post-sale processes.
Manage sponsorship opportunities within the internal system from start to finish.
Join and participate on sales calls with Account Executives (in-person and virtually)
Work with Marketing, Research, ad Promotion Departments to develop tailored sales presentations.
Work closely with convergent teams to expand business across all platforms

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of either advertising sales experience (preferably linear, digital, or programmatic) or TV buying/media planning experience at an agency
BS / BA degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
Experience working with Phoenix, Salestrack, WideOrbit, FreeWheel, Salesforce, and/or Operative
A deep desire to win and grow as a cable ad sales professional; Thrive is a team-oriented environment
Remarkable communication and organizational skills.
Solid written communication skills and ability to think creatively
Ability to prioritize & multi-task in a dynamic sales environment
Must be extremely organized, detailed, and accurate with extraordinary foresight
