Account Executive
ParamountAccount Executive responsible for growing advertising sales across CBS Television Stations and Paramount+ platforms. Engaging clients and maximizing revenue through innovative sales strategies.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Grow existing and create new business in linear and First Party streaming platforms.
- New Business is expected at a high level.
- Securing contract renewals with increased market share through cross-selling/up selling additional platforms and solutions.
- Develop and execute strategies for maximizing high-profile properties such as NFL, Big Ten College Football, PGA Golf, UFC, WNBA, NCAA Men’s and Women’s College Basketball, UEFA Soccer, NWSL Women’s Professional Soccer and CW Network sports.
- Maximize revenue utilizing high profile network prime specials including The Golden Globes, Tony Awards, CMA Awards, Daytime Emmy’s, Primetime Emmy’s, MTV-VMA awards and the Kennedy Center Honors.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
- Create, develop, and maintain strong working relationships with clients.
- Explore innovative and non-traditional avenues to generate revenue.
- Create customized, client-focused solutions that demonstrate the value of Paramount.
- Help foster a positive, collaborative work environment with internal team members, ensuring customer satisfaction and optimal performance.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of experience in advertising sales or support with an emphasis in broadcast and OTT streaming products among direct publishers or re-sellers.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in the business development arena.
- Depth in structuring and owning the sales cycle to closing business.
- Applications including Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Nielsen, ComScore, Operative and WideOrbit.
- Willingness to learn, adjust and apply guidance in a rapidly advancing workspace driven by local-market attribution and advanced targeting in both linear and streaming platforms.
- Exceptional time management skills are required.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
