About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the preparation and execution of quarterly earnings materials, conference presentations, management briefings, and other relevant public company communications
Develop and maintain collateral that enables broader tracking and analysis across relevant areas, including reporting for senior leadership (e.g., financial estimates, sell-side research coverage, competitive tracking and benchmarking, shareholder ownership activity, etc.)
Develop strong company and sector expertise to understand strategic, operational, and financial developments at Paramount, as well as the broader media, entertainment, and tech sectors
Partner with Finance, Accounting, Legal, and Corporate Communications teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of external financial messaging
Assist in planning and executing investor events (e.g. investor conferences, non-deal roadshows, etc.)
Manage additional strategic projects across finance, with an appetite to contribute beyond core responsibilities

Requirements

What you’ll need

4-6+ years of relevant experience across sell-side or buy-side equity research, asset management, investment banking, and/or private equity
Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret financial statements, financial and industry models, and capital markets dynamics
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing polished, executive-ready materials
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and manage demanding timelines around key operating cycles
Bachelor's degree
Experience in the media, entertainment, and/or technology sectors
Familiarity with financial tools and platforms such as CapIQ, Visible Alpha, etc.
CFA designation (or progress toward)
