About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide leadership in and out of the control room fulfilling production needs as assigned.
- Work with the 24/7 editorial and production teams to execute an error-free production in an ELC automated control room environment.
- Code the assigned newscast and run through portions of the show with crew and talent before going to air to ensure a crisp delivery.
- Collaborate with the producer and jib operator to ensure effective use of virtual studio space.
- Implement new technologies and/or methods for future assignments.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrated experience in live news production is required.
- Previous Control Room Automation use is desired.
- Sony ELC experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of iNews preferred.
- Ability to work in fast paced, high-pressure environment.
- Must be a self-starter with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude & leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities a must.
- Excellent people and communication skills needed.
- Good conflict resolution and problem-solving skills are a must.
