About the role

  • This role supports the Publicity, Corporate Communications and Events team in a range of varied tasks to enhance the profile and audience engagement of content and associated talent across all platforms of Paramount ANZ, including Network 10 (10 and 10 Streaming) and Paramount+.
  • The position requires strong organisational skills, excellent written communication and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced entertainment environment with innovative, out-of-the-box thinking.
  • You’ll be given exposure to a range of exciting activities related to our high-profile shows and talent.
  • Maintain and update media databases and influencer lists.
  • Distribute media releases, influencer drops.
  • Book travel: flights, accommodation, ground transport.
  • Manage the Publicity media site.
  • Track, compile, and distribute media coverage reports and campaign recaps.
  • Support with the organisation of media events, premieres, junkets, screenings, talent appearances and set visits, including catering requirements, invites and RSVPs, etc.
  • Assist in the production and distribution of publicity materials, including press kits, media releases, photography, digital assets, clips, screeners and previews to support content coverage.
  • Manage photo captioning.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Publicity, Corporate Communications and Event teams, including calendar management and invoice processing.
  • Suggest innovative ways of positively raising the profile of Paramount content and talent to create “buzz” and get people talking – yes, you’ll have a voice within the team!
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including media, partners and event organisers.
  • Suggest key social media content creators to generate earned and paid Social media coverage across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X and YouTube.
  • Suggest new and interesting avenues for communicating effectively and imaginatively with viewers, wherever they are, to reach both established and new audiences.
  • Ensure compliance with Paramount’s Global Business Conduct Statement (BCS), all internal policies and procedures and relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in PR, Communications, Media, Marketing, Social Media or other related field.
  • Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Detail oriented, organised, flexible, timely and accurate.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
  • A passion for television and a love of entertainment.
  • Creative, the ability to think differently with an “out of the box” approach.
  • Some experience working within TV/media, entertainment, events or public relations.
  • Experience in media monitoring tools and media databases.
