About the role
- Produce newscasts as assigned
- Write for other assigned newscasts
- Manage deadlines and lead multiple resources to produce a compelling show
Requirements
- At least two years’ experience producing a TV newscast required
- College Degree preferred
- Familiarity with non-linear editing and playback systems preferred
- Familiarity with social media and how to use it to generate and promote stories a plus
- Experience managing reporters using live transmission (i.e. LiveU, Dejero, Zoom, Skype, Facetime, Facebook, ENG and KU, etc.)
- Excellent broadcast writing skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage a show under pressure in and out of the control room
