About the role
- Stage & Facility Oversight
- Schedule and handle operations for the Hollywood, Burbank, and Nashville insert stages, control rooms, and support spaces, ensuring readiness, safety, and integrity.
- Partner with Core Services and Security to lead building logistics, insurance requirements, and facility requests.
- Establish and carry out safety protocols in collaboration with Risk Management and Core Services for productions in Hollywood, Burbank, and Nashville.
- Crew Management & Labor Relations
- Source and hire union and non-union crew, encouraging positive relationships to support smooth operations.
- Negotiate and stabilize crew deal terms and rates across Paramount brands.
- Coordinate deal memos, start paperwork, and approve timesheets for accurate payroll processing.
- Run travel logistics, housing, and venue access credentials for crew.
- Ensure compliance with IATSE labor agreements and liaise with unions and Labor Relations to resolve issues.
- Production Support & Collaboration
- Collaborate with Production on creative planning, stunts, scheduling, and budgeting for live, pretaped and performance content.
- Act as a key liaison across Production, Core Services, Security and Risk Management to align staffing, technical resources, and facility use with production goals.
- Anticipate staffing and logistical needs, delivering efficient solutions that balance creative vision with operational efficiency.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of working in a live studio control room or remote production environment.
- Shown knowledge of technical facilities, studio production requirements, and remote operations.
- Experience collaborating with union and non-union crews, with knowledge of IATSE labor agreements.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office 365 and database entry systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, fast paced environment with multiple productions.
- Must be willing to work nights, weekends, irregular hours as production requires and travel.
- Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask and problem-solve in real time.
