About the role

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate 5G algorithms and embedded software.
Perform functional, performance, stress, and regression testing on high-performance, real-time software for 5G cellular products.
Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
Verify and validate software against product requirement specifications and customer use cases.
Collaborate with system architects and developers to understand feature designs and ensure test coverage.
Design and implement automated testing frameworks and scripts to improve testing efficiency.
Conduct technical analysis of test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
Assist in debugging and root cause analysis of issues found during testing.
Support the development of workflows to optimize system performance based on customer use cases.
Participate in product design reviews to provide input on testability and quality considerations.

BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline (or equivalent).
5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing, preferably in embedded systems or wireless communications.
Direct experience with testing LTE or 5G stack implementations is highly desirable.
Proficiency in testing real-time software in a Linux environment.
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, pytest, or custom scripts).
Knowledge of programming in C++ or Python for test development and automation.
Familiarity with wireless communications protocols and concepts.
Hands on experience with automation of test equipment such as spectrum analyzer, VSA, channel emulator and traffic generator.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with developers and stakeholders.
