About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and implement comprehensive account plans that ensure long-term success, client satisfaction, and revenue growth.
- Build deep relationships with key decision-makers across Department of Education, leading to expanded customer bases and increased market penetration.
- Partner with Paragon Micro's Engineers, Solution Architects, and Global Account Managers to deliver customized technology solutions that address client needs, including Secure Storage, Network Solutions, Security & Mobility, and Cloud.
- Manage account relationships with senior-level engagements, crafting strategic sales plans, and negotiating complex deals that ensure customer success and profitability.
- Stay ahead of industry trends to recommend innovative products and services that help clients optimize their IT environments.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years of field-based technology sales experience, with a focus on Department of Education and other Federal Civilian agencies.
- In-depth understanding of Federal Government contracting, and relationships within the Federal industry, particularly Civilian agencies.
- Existing client relationships that you are willing to engage in conversations to compete for their business.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and persuade prospects at various levels of an organization.
- High proficiency in cold calling and crafting personalized messaging to initiate meaningful conversations that showcase Paragon Micro’s solution capabilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in solution-based selling and consultative sales approaches to address complex customer needs effectively.
- Resilient, self-motivated, and goal-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to consistently exceed revenue and margin goals, successfully identifying and closing new business opportunities while expanding existing relationships.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with experience engaging key decision-makers and influencers to drive long-term partnerships.
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry-leading technologies and OEMs in the data center, network infrastructure, cyber security, modern workplace collaboration, and cloud.
