About the role
- Lead development of Paradigm’s “brain,” a multifaceted internal operating system including portfolio management, financial and analytical data, and records on talent and companies within the network.
- Drive product vision: define what to build and build it to improve Paradigm’s internal systems.
- Evaluate buy vs. build decisions for AI tooling.
- Champion the user by engaging directly, translating insights into product requirements and wireframes.
- Lead engineering execution: own the roadmap and delivery process rather than day-to-day management.
- Manage sprints: scope requirements clearly and drive timely delivery.
- Communicate effectively with leadership and stakeholders to align priorities, progress, and impact.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building quantitative and/or financial products with world-class engineering teams.
- Technical depth and hands-on experience sufficient to earn the respect of top engineers.
- Prior background as a software engineer with coding experience.
- Exceptional collaborator and team player.
- Open-minded and adaptable in fast-changing environments.
- Clear, concise communicator in both 1:1 and group settings.
- Empathetic toward colleagues and stakeholders.
- Highly curious and a fast learner.
- Strong interest in frontier technologies and crypto markets.
