About the role

  • Lead development of Paradigm’s “brain,” a multifaceted internal operating system including portfolio management, financial and analytical data, and records on talent and companies within the network.
  • Drive product vision: define what to build and build it to improve Paradigm’s internal systems.
  • Evaluate buy vs. build decisions for AI tooling.
  • Champion the user by engaging directly, translating insights into product requirements and wireframes.
  • Lead engineering execution: own the roadmap and delivery process rather than day-to-day management.
  • Manage sprints: scope requirements clearly and drive timely delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with leadership and stakeholders to align priorities, progress, and impact.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building quantitative and/or financial products with world-class engineering teams.
  • Technical depth and hands-on experience sufficient to earn the respect of top engineers.
  • Prior background as a software engineer with coding experience.
  • Exceptional collaborator and team player.
  • Open-minded and adaptable in fast-changing environments.
  • Clear, concise communicator in both 1:1 and group settings.
  • Empathetic toward colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Highly curious and a fast learner.
  • Strong interest in frontier technologies and crypto markets.
