- Build products that help Paradigm make better decisions using AI
- Make strategic decisions on how and where to apply AI at Paradigm
- Build tools and features that use AI to improve how we work
- Run experiments to test where AI can make things faster, smarter, or more efficient
- Own projects from problem definition through shipping the solution
- Pitch in on core engineering work: performance, reliability, code reviews
- Ship quickly, experiment, and improve everyone's judgment across the firm
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with experience applying AI/ML in production environments
- Track record of applying modern AI and software systems to solve complex, ambiguous problems end-to-end
- Comfortable navigating everything from foundational models to full-stack product delivery
- Pragmatic, product-minded builder who cares about solving real problems rather than overfitting to academic ML goals
- Ability to work autonomously and as a collaborator on the team
- Able to work in-person in San Francisco, CA 3 days a week
