About the role

  • You assist surgeons and orthopedists in the operating room and accompany our patients before, during and after procedures
  • You help prepare and follow up on surgical and diagnostic procedures
  • You prepare operating rooms and the necessary materials and equipment before and after procedures
  • You carry out hygiene measures and are responsible for the reprocessing/sterilization of surgical instruments

Requirements

  • At least 17 years old
  • Secondary school certificate (Mittlere Reife) or lower secondary school leaving certificate (Hauptschulabschluss) plus either a successfully completed vocational training of at least two years or a one-year training as a nursing assistant (m/f/d)
  • Good empathy and strong observational skills
  • Teamwork skills, and an understanding of hygiene and technical processes
  • Willingness to participate in observation days (job shadowing)
