About the role

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing India-based infrastructure team.
  • Ensure reliability, performance, and security of cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Drive automation using IaC and scripting to improve operations.
  • Oversee server, network, and storage maintenance, including scheduled maintenance windows.
  • Lead and mature incident response, RCA processes, and best practices.
  • Implement and maintain an enterprise CMDB.
  • Research, evaluate, and run PoCs for tools across observability, operations, and infrastructure.
  • Manage vulnerability remediation and partner with Security for compliance.
  • Support DR, backups, and business continuity initiatives.
  • Collaborate with global Engineering, DevOps, and Security teams to deliver operational excellence.
  • Lead cloud and infra integration during M&A activities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in cloud/infrastructure roles with 3+ years leading technical teams, ideally in India.
  • Strong experience with cloud + on‑prem environments, including servers, networking, storage, and maintenance/change windows.
  • Hands‑on expertise with Kubernetes, Linux containers, and Windows/Windows containers.
  • Advanced scripting in PowerShell and Python (automation-focused).
  • Strong background in IaC (Terraform) for both new and existing infrastructure.
  • Experience managing/optimizing multiple Active Directory forests.
  • Solid understanding of incident management, observability, CI/CD, and resilience engineering.
  • Ability to perform market research, run PoCs, and help select tools (e.g., Observability).
  • Knowledge of security best practices and a security-first mindset.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog, New Relic, Uptime.com.
  • Exposure to M&A cloud/infrastructure integration.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for a global work environment.
