About the role

  • Lead and develop our sales team: You will lead a motivated team of sales professionals and jointly set clear goals and strategies
  • Strategic new business acquisition: You are responsible for acquiring new customers, developing sales processes and engaging directly with prospective clients
  • End-to-end sales process: From initial contact and online product presentations to proposal preparation, contract negotiations and closing – you will manage the entire sales cycle
  • Customer retention and upselling: Together with our Customer Success team, you will develop strategies to retain existing customers and identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities
  • Cross-functional collaboration: You will work closely with Marketing, Product Management and Customer Success to continuously optimize the sales strategy

Requirements

  • Completed university degree or commercial vocational training
  • Several years of experience (at least 4 years) in B2B sales, ideally in the SaaS or e-commerce sector
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing a sales team
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a hands-on mentality
  • Technical understanding and affinity for e-commerce tools
  • Independent working style, flexibility and a willingness to continuously develop
  • Ideally an existing network within the e-commerce ecosystem
