About the role
- Experience in a leadership role managing a team of engineers including mentoring staff, training and development, and schedule and budget adherence.
- Provide engineering and design for projects relating to airfield improvement, water treatment plants, pump stations, transportation, building electrical systems, etc.
- Provides estimates for engineering fee budgets and schedules to meet project requirements.
- Ability to independently perform all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works.
- Applies technical expertise to review, approve, and seal work.
- Support the work of others and mentor junior level engineers & design/drafting technical staff.
- Ensure project compliance with all KSA practices and quality, safety and governmental design standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited University.
- 10+ years relevant experience in public infrastructure engineering and project management.
- Current Professional Engineering License in Texas.
- Experience with internal and external client management including municipalities and government agencies.
- Experience in the production and delivery of electrical engineering construction drawings and specifications.
- Familiar with MS Office Software (TEAMS, Word, Excel), Newforma, Bluebeam, AutoCAD and REVIT.
