About the role

  • Provide executive-level oversight for structural projects from concept through construction
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams and ensure successful delivery of complex, high-impact projects
  • Establish project strategy, scope, budgets, schedules, and resource plans
  • Serve as senior technical authority and provide guidance on complex structural design challenges
  • Oversee construction phase services, including critical issue resolution, client coordination, and risk management
  • Develop and review high-level technical reports, proposals, and client deliverables
  • Mentor, supervise, and develop engineering staff and emerging leaders
  • Act as primary client liaison, building and maintaining long-term relationships with key stakeholders and agencies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • Minimum 12–15 years of progressive experience in structural design, analysis, and project management
  • Demonstrated experience leading large, complex projects in land development and/or public works, including bridges, water/wastewater facilities, and specialty structures
  • Advanced proficiency in structural analysis software such as RISA, STAAD, and/or MIDAS
  • Working knowledge of MicroStation preferred
  • PMP and/or Envision certification strongly preferred
