Leads, mentors, and develops a team of data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Defines and enforces standards for data modeling, model deployment, and model training requirements to ensure robust, scalable, and maintainable AI solutions.
Partners with the Vice President, Analytics and AI, to align AI initiatives with business strategy and drive measurable impact.
Collaborates with Legal and Compliance to ensure all data usage and AI applications meet regulatory, privacy, and ethical standards.
Oversees the end-to-end lifecycle of AI projects, from ideation to model deployment and monitoring.
Works with Data Architect to evaluate and implement new tools, technologies, and methodologies to advance the organization’s AI capabilities.
Communicates complex technical concepts and project outcomes to non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership.
Champions data governance, quality, and security best practices across the organization.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in data science, with a proven track record of deploying AI/ML models in production environments.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience leading and developing high-performing data science teams.
Deep expertise in data modeling, machine learning, and AI deployment best practices.
Strong understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
