About the role
- Publishes and maintains SQL-based reports and dashboards to production environments.
- Coordinates with development and business teams to ensure timely and accurate report delivery.
- Validates report output and performance post-deployment.
- Manages Git repository for deployed code.
- Monitors production jobs and reports for failures or anomalies.
- Investigates and resolves data-related issues or system errors reported by users.
- Maintains documentation of recurring issues and resolutions to support knowledge sharing.
- Maintains comprehensive documentation of data pipelines, processes, and query optimizations.
- Performs data corrections in accordance with requests proactive monitoring.
- Executes data cleanup processes to maintain data quality and integrity in production systems.
- Supports the data pipeline and ETL troubleshooting as needed.
- Works closely with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to identify root causes and propose long-term fixes.
- Assists in optimizing production workflows and documentation to improve system reliability and support efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Software Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics (if supplemented with technical experience)
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in production support, data operations, or SQL based role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira.)
- Experience with Git code repositories.
