About the role

  • Establish Pantheon’s APAC go-to-market presence, initially focused on Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore
  • Own regional new business revenue targets, pipeline creation, and forecasting
  • Personally sell and close early flagship customers while developing repeatable sales motions
  • Build and nurture a regional agency and technology partner ecosystem to drive co-sell and referral pipeline
  • Hire, onboard, and lead the first APAC GTM team, expected to grow to 2–4 in-region hires in the first phase (sales-first, with expansion into partners, SDR, and customer-facing roles over time)
  • Work closely with global Sales, Partnerships, Marketing, Customer Success, and Solutions Engineering leaders to localize programs and operating models for APAC
  • Provide clear pipeline visibility, forecasts, and market insights to executive leadership
  • Act as the voice of the APAC customer and market internally, influencing product feedback, enablement priorities, and GTM strategy
  • Lay the foundation for longer-term expansion into broader APAC and Japan as the region matures

Requirements

  • Proven experience building or scaling a regional go-to-market or sales organization, ideally in SaaS or developer-focused platforms
  • Strong track record selling mid-market and/or enterprise software solutions
  • Experience hiring and leading early-stage teams in-region
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and autonomy, and building structure from the ground up
  • Familiarity with partner-led growth models, particularly agency ecosystems
  • Strong business judgment and ability to balance near-term revenue with long-term foundation building
  • Clear communicator who works effectively across time zones and global stakeholders
  • Based in Australia, with Sydney or Melbourne strongly preferred, and willingness to travel regionally and occasionally internationally
