About the role
- Strategically lead the optometry team towards excellence in patient care and operational efficiency
- Ensure clinical excellence across all aspects of optometry services
- Optimize departmental operations for maximum efficiency
- Drive revenue growth through strategic retail optometry practices
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-caliber team of Optometrists and support staff
- Collaborate closely with other departments for cohesive patient care
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Doctor of Optometry (OD) license
- A minimum of 10 years of clinical experience in optometry, with a substantial portion dedicated to supporting ophthalmic surgeries and retail optometry
- Professional experience leading across multiple medical practices is preferred
- Thorough understanding of medical regulations, compliance standards, and best practices
- Exceptional communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office products and EMRs.
