About the role

  • Collaborate closely with Creative Sourcing, Strategic Partners, and I&PD teams
  • Lead structured exploration of mid- to long-term material innovations
  • Partner with Quality Assurance and testing laboratories
  • Maintain precise and up-to-date material master data within the PLM system
  • Own material development from ideation through industrialization
  • Build and sustain strong working relationships with cross-functional product teams
  • Design and maintain a structured material library
  • Support the Senior Manager in Innovation roadmap planning

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, or related field
  • Strong expertise in metal alloys, mechanical systems, and surface engineering processes
  • Hands-on experience in material testing & characterization
  • Proven ability to translate design concepts into robust, manufacturable, and scalable material solutions
  • Experience managing material data, specifications, and documentation within PLM or equivalent systems
