About the role
- Collaborate closely with Creative Sourcing, Strategic Partners, and I&PD teams
- Lead structured exploration of mid- to long-term material innovations
- Partner with Quality Assurance and testing laboratories
- Maintain precise and up-to-date material master data within the PLM system
- Own material development from ideation through industrialization
- Build and sustain strong working relationships with cross-functional product teams
- Design and maintain a structured material library
- Support the Senior Manager in Innovation roadmap planning
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, or related field
- Strong expertise in metal alloys, mechanical systems, and surface engineering processes
- Hands-on experience in material testing & characterization
- Proven ability to translate design concepts into robust, manufacturable, and scalable material solutions
- Experience managing material data, specifications, and documentation within PLM or equivalent systems
