About the role
- Plan and conduct UX research, including user interviews, usability testing, and prototype validation with internal and external users
- Translate research insights into clear, actionable design decisions, represented in user flows, specifications, wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes
- Produce high-fidelity, pixel-perfect UI designs for new features and product improvements when required
- Collaborate closely with Engineers and our Director of Technology to define problems, discuss solutions and align on goals
- Oversee and maintain the evolution of our design system, guidelines and best practices
Requirements
- A portfolio that showcases strong UX thinking and clean, intuitive interface design
- 4+ years of experience designing digital products, ideally in B2B product environments
- Strong generalist background across research, UX, UI, and visual design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English — able to articulate design rationale clearly to technical and non-technical partners
- Skilled in Figma and experienced with rapid prototyping tools to communicate ideas clearly and quickly
- Experience working with distributed, cross-functional teams
- Comfortable with ambiguity and skilled at creating structure where none exists
- Experience working with component-based design
- Ability to travel internationally for at least 1 week per year, including to Canada, the USA, the EU, the UK, Hong Kong, and China
- Ability to work up to 2 overlapping hours between 9 AM and 4 PM, Pacific Standard Time.
