Requirements

What you’ll need

Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates
Current BLS certification required
Evidence of ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment
BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment
Current ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses
One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required
