About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Utilize the nursing process while delivering, directing, and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if the state participates
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Evidence of ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment
  • BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment
  • Current ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses
  • One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required
