About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse
- Perform patient care activities within the limits of the position
- Do not administer medications or therapy
- Do not assume independent responsibility for patient care
- Accomplish job duties consistently with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state where the hospital resides
- Current BLS certification is required
- No experience required
- 2–3 years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit preferred
