About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work under the direction of the Director of Business Development
  • Cultivate referral relationships
  • Manage assigned territory
  • Complete patient assessments
  • Make sales contacts
  • Analyze referral and admission data from the assigned territory
  • Collaborate with business development team members, including the Admissions Manager and admission staff, nursing, and other internal and external staff, to facilitate referral conversion
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for program development and quality improvement initiatives related to customer service, the referral and admission process, and patient and referral source satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective patients, family members, physicians, ICU and floor nurses, discharge planners, case managers, and payer representatives
  • Serve as the face of the hospital and communicate rehabilitation success and potential outcomes to patients and families

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Current license in one of the following: RN, OTR, PT, RRT or SLP
  • Current licensure in nursing or respiratory therapy is required
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in the designated field of license
  • Degree from an accredited college or university in a health field, preferably nursing, preferred
  • Prior marketing and/or rehabilitation/LTACH experience preferred
  • Marketing experience preferred
