About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supervise and coordinate patient care for the nursing units
- Solve problems and ensure adequate staffing
- Monitor work performance
- Provide employees with appropriate feedback regarding work performance and behavior
- Interpret, implement, and enforce hospital policy
- Assume responsibility for nursing administrative decisions in the absence of the Chief Nursing Officer, if applicable
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- 2 years of medical-surgical nursing or equivalent experience required
- Long Term Acute Care or rehabilitation nursing experience preferred
- Management-level experience preferred
- BSN preferred, but not required
