About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Utilize the nursing process while delivering, directing, and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit
- Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care
- Participate in interdisciplinary planning

- Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization

Requirements
What you’ll need- Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if the state participates
- Current BLS certification required
- BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment
- Evidence of ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment
- Current ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required
