About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform routine therapy, diagnostic, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals
Maintain all respiratory care equipment in working order
Provide phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required or requested
Care for chronically and critically ill patients requiring extended hospital care
Work collaboratively with colleagues and leadership to deliver compassionate patient care

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care
Must possess and maintain current BLS certification
Must possess and maintain current ACLS certification
Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada
For hospitals performing arterial punctures and/or running blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required; an associate degree is preferred
Minimum of one year of clinical respiratory experience preferred
Commitment to learn and prior inpatient hospital experience are ideal qualifications
