Requirements

What you’ll need

High school graduate or equivalent preferred
Current BLS certification is required
Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred
Work under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse
Do not administer medications or therapy
Do not assume independent responsibility for patient care
