About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Cultivate referral relationships and manage the assigned territory
- Complete patient assessments
- Make sales contacts and analyze referral and admission data from the assigned territory
- Collaborate with business development team members, Admissions Manager, admission staff, nursing, and other internal and external staff to facilitate referral conversion
- Provide feedback and recommendations for program development and quality improvement initiatives related to customer service, referral and admission processes, and patient and referral source satisfaction
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective patients, family members, physicians, ICU and floor nurses, discharge planners, case managers, and payer representatives
- Serve as the face of the hospital and support prospective patients in understanding their rehabilitation potential and available support
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in a health-related field from an accredited college or university preferred
- Current licensure in nursing, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech and language therapy required
- Minimum of two years’ experience in the designated field of license
- Rehabilitation/LTACH experience preferred
- Marketing experience preferred
