Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates
  • Current BLS certification required
  • BLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment
  • Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations
  • One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required
