Requirements

What you’ll need

Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides or compact licensure if state participates
Current BLS certification required
BLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment
Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations
One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required
