About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Providing appropriate nursing care, as directed by an RN on the nursing unit.
- Gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner.
- Performing other related duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
- Current BLS certification required.
- BLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
- Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations.
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
